The head of the Imogiri Police, Bantul, Kompol Sumanto said the human skeleton was first discovered by anglers, when the fishing hook caught the bone of a human toe. After being pulled it turned out to be a complete human skeleton structure. The findings were then conveyed to local residents. When checked, it turned out to be a human skeleton.
"Residents then report to the Imogiri Police," said Sumanto, Tuesday (1/2/2022).
Receiving the report, the officers together with the medical team and the Bantul Police Inafis Team followed up by visiting the location, in order to carry out security, process the crime scene (TKP) and evacuate.
The results of the initial examination, it is suspected that the human skeleton is female. It was known because the skeleton was still wearing women's clothes, including a bra. After being evacuated, the human skeleton was taken to the Bhayangkara Police Hospital DIY.
"The identity is not yet known, if the gender is female, it is known from the clothes. At the top, she wears a lurik striated shirt," he explained.
