The identity of the female corpse found floating in the Oya River, Hamlet Putat, Selopamioro, Imogiri, Bantul, Thursday morning (17/2/2022) at 08.00 WIB was revealed.

The victim's name is Supartini (42) a Bengkulu resident, but he lives with his family in Denggok VI Village, Dengok Village of Kapanewon Playen, Gunungkidul.

Imogiri Police Chief Kompol Sumanto said the identity of the corpse was revealed from fingerprint examination.

Where the results of the fingerprint examination are identical to those of the victim. In addition, the family who witnessed the body directly acknowledged that the person concerned was Supartini.

"The results of fingerprint checks carried out by Inafis Bantul Police and Bhayangkara Hospital Polda DIY are identical to the identity. The family also confirmed it," he said.

The victim left the house without saying goodbye a few days ago until finally he was found floating in the Oya Putat River, Selopamioro.

"We have handed over the body before signing the minutes of handover at the Polsek," he explained.
